Anton van Doornmalen and his band performed at the World Seed Congress in Rotterdam (28.05.2024). It was a very special performance for the Dutch singersongwriter - and not just because the concert took place on the former passenger ship SS Rotterdam. The ship is a former Holland-America Line vessel in the port of Rotterdam.
The focus of the performance was on the “Seed Songs” and in particular the newly written song “ISF”, which is based on the song “The Boxer” by Paul Simon. Anton's daughter Anke was also on stage. He recorded the songs “You Are” and “Talent” with her.
“After the King opened the congress, everything went wonderfully,” said Anton, who was delighted with the 1980 participants from 76 countries. The performance overall has been very successful, he added.
